The Sydney International Food Festival organized a program at Star City’s Astral restaurant that gather together Sydney’s biggest culinary stars (Peter Gilmore, Kylie Kwong, Mark Best, Neil Perry) as well as big name chefs from some of the finest restaurants in the world (Yoshihiro Murata from Japan, Sebastien Bras, Alvin Leung, and more). The Sydney International Food Festival has something to offer for all everybody: grand dinners, tours, cooking classes and community events. The highlight of the program is the amazing food scene that present some national flag-inspired food designs. Here I collected some of their yummy artwork inspired by their national flag. This roundup includes some of illustration made by Alexis Marcou. He produced a range of illustrations to come with his typeface called “fuel”. Alexis Marcou was born in Greece and raised in Larissa. Through his beautiful illustrations, you’ll see that Marcou’s works are raw and, yet, refined. Sketching is very important for any working artist to be able to express an idea in a sketch. 12 Pieces of Awesome Beer Stein Designs

Beer stein are traditional beer mugs made out of stoneware, or specifically ornamental beer mugs that are usually sold as souvenirs or collectibles. The handle of the mug has a tiny hinge, which when you pressed with your thumb, it opens the lid. This lets you to open and close the lid with the same hand holding the mug. The origins of beer steins date back to the 14th century. As an outcome of the bubonic or bacterial disease plague and numerous invasions of flies throughout Europe, Germany imposed several laws in the early 16th century requiring all containers of food and beverage be covered to protect it from flies and bacteria. Modern beer steins are made in several different materials like ceramic, glass or metals. Any serious beer drinker should have a beer stein. Here now some cool Beer steins I found. Stalking wildlife animal to take pictures of them is quite difficult, because in any moment your subject could run or worst attack you. Glamour Photography: Porcelain Dolls by Andy Julia

Here’s some fantastic work of Andy Julia, a freelance French photographer who lives and works in Paris. Julia work on a series of unique fashion photography inspired by porcelain dolls. At Beaux Arts School, he study painting, drawing and history of arts and then move to learning technical photography/audiovisual formation in France. Andy started working as an assistant at the Daylight Studios in Paris. Julia was fascinated in harmony between the artistic visuals of the past times and the modern world. He experiment with those varying codes of beauty, creating a gloomy vision that always integrates the natural personalities of his models. I wanna show you some amusing wheels illustration created by Gianluca Mattia, a talented artist born in Bari, Italy. After his studies in art, Mattia focused in digital illustration. One of his first illustrations showcased creatures of various forms. After lots of exploration, he decided to promote his pin up theme in the modern way.
